My Wedding Gown

8474F.jpg

I’ve been trying gowns lately and almost every weekend my task is to go to bridal salon to try on gowns.  I don’t know if that happens to every bride?  You have a feeling of “that’s it” or “no no” when you try it on.  I found the “that’s it” gown FINALLY.  My bear was being very patient with me trying on gowns lately.  I have to give him a big Beari Hug for this!  Even I was kinda frustrated throughout the whole process.  Both my bear and I think this is the one.  However, I’ve made several requests to change some of the details to my gown.  Yeah my bear was like Pimp MY Gown haha I’ve changed the material of this gown to Ivory Satin instead of Organza.  You will see the crystal beads on the satin instead.  I’ve also ordered crystals brooches as well to put on to my gown to replace the roses instead.  I hope my gown will have this bling bling sparkling effect!  It will take approximately 3-6 months of wait plus the customization.  So we will see!  Here’s the picture of the gown before pimping haha and its by Allure Bridal.

Everyone in England is talking about this Anna Hindmarch £5 Bag.  The price? £5 !!! Environmental friendly bag that all money raised will be given to charity!  There were 500 available only for celebs and VIP during London Fashion Week.  Ebay is selling for over £100 for these bags now.  They will launch the bags on March 20 at certain Anya Hindmarch stores in London.  March 20 will release the green only.  But on April 25, it will become available at supermarkets as well and also in 2 colors, blue and green!

Look at which celebs are carrying the bag around!

Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker

sara.jpg

More and more celebrities are having their own clothing line.  Sarah Jessica Parker will launch her new collection Bitten on June 7, 2007.  The collection is exclusively to Steve & Barry’s only.  Do not expect anything like red-carpet evening gown or Manolo Blahniks!  It will be a collection about affordably priced sportswear.  I am not too excited about this but I just found out that there’s actually a Steve & Barry’s store just 5 minutes away from my place.  I guess I will drop by and check out the collection by then!

The collection will boast an assortment of over 150 styles and more than 400 apparel and accessory items and grown to nearly 500 apparel and accessories by August with the introduction of the fall line.

Key looks from the summer and fall lines include suit separates in a wool blend with stretch; lightweight wovens; basic black cotton dresses; a denim collection; tees in cotton jersey; nightgowns; swimwear, and accessories including handbags, totes, jewelry, belts, and footwear.” — The Daily

Adidas Dance by Stella McCartney

Stella.jpg

Adidas by Stella McCartney was first introduced in February 2005.  The first collection includes running, training and swimming apparel.  By fall, she added trail-running, rock-climbing and tennis.  Yoga and Gym was added this year’s Sping collection 2007.  Stella McCartney will add DANCE as a new category.  I’ve heard Dance collection from Nike and now Stella is doing it for Adidas.

“In August, the collection will hit about 600 doors, including Adidas Sports Performance Stores, Stella McCartney boutiques, high-end department stores and selected sports retailers. It is also available at shopadidas.com.The dance component of the line wholesales from $40.50 for leggings to $100 for a woven top.” — wwd

The Row by the Olsen Twins

01re3.jpg

The Olsen Twins has just launched their designer line, The Row at Barneys.  Price ranges from $195 for the perfect tee to $850 for a cashmere knit vest!  It is pricey indeed for the simple design.  However, it was well-known for its french seaming technique and use of material.  I think it worths a trip to visit Barneys to check out the quality of these pieces.  They are only available at selected department store.  Above picture provided by Barneys.  The ROW long sleeve cashmere blend t-shirt $650.  Long Cashmere Blend Tank Dress $225.
